It is basically someone with a Swiffer sweeping the ice while another person pushes a puck after it and I don't even know what the third person does, or even what the point is. lolol

I was so proud that I finally finished doing least today...then I went to get my last load out of the washer, and I found out that I had A WHOLE PACK OF TISSUES IN A POCKET which has now left LITTLE SHREDS OF PAPER ALL OVER MY CLEAN CLOTHES!!

This is the kind of day when you just need to curl back up in bed, and hope tomorrow goes better lol

For those unfamiliar with it, it is basically "campfire food".  I made them a lot when I was little and stayed at my best friends campground.  You use a Mountain Pie "iron" (aka as a Toas-tite) which is basically like a panini press on a long stick. You put bread on it and then fill it with whatever ingredients you want: pizza toppings, pie filling, s'mores fixings-you name it!  As long as the items are already cooked of course because you are basically just toasting the bread and melting whatever is inside lol

I recently had a chance to relive some of those whimsical Mountain Pie making memories when a member of my local Buy Nothing Project group was giving away a MP iron.  My friend in the group who was from Boston had never heard of them before, and she was moving away, so I thought it would be a fun thing to do before she left.

it was a fun experience and I am glad Sara got to see what it was all about; however, as an adult I realize that it basically turns making a four minute grilled cheese sandwich into a twenty minute production lolol

We have always just used bread but I do wanna try making quesadilla ones with tortillas and taco ingredients to see how that might turns out!
